Remember Condor CGT's Toys ? They really exist !!!
During my recent memorable trip to Bahrain with the F40, I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting up with Jaber's brother Khalifa and spending alot of time with him at the track and his home.
Words are insufficient to describe the warmth and hospitality extended to Sanj and I...we were overwhelmed with kindness. Its hardly surprising I suppose, since everyone knows Jaber is a class act on this board and others....but the reality of the kindness was very, very touching. I even had a chance to meet Jaber's mother, and she is a kind, sweet, wise lady that reminds me of my mother so much. I honestly did not want to leave, and could have spent hours there. The spread of food awaiting us was akin to a buffet !!! absolutely incredible...and this was just the tea portion, not dinner !
While we were there, I had a chance to snap away and take some pics of a FEW of Jabers cars...some I did not get to see, but there will be next year...and then, Jaber will also be there instead of flying F16's at some course in the US (what an excuse...
). That will be even more memorable than this amazing trip.
Condor's CGT
As you know, Jaber has the only paint to sample Condor yellow CGT in the world. It has a cocoa brown leather interior that is much darker and richer appearing than the Ascot brown. This car is immaculate...the paint feels like a baby's arse ! The environment that it is stored in has to be seen to be believed. It is hermetically sealed from the elements, air is circulated, and the environment is temp controlled at all times ! The only thing missing was a level 5 containment suit for me to wear as I entered this LAB !
Seriously, the CDC could use this to work on the Ebola virus !
