Though I agree with most if not everything you wrote, I'll say this regarding your idea of the performance "X51-like" package; what if the changes are so vast and go beyond so much more than just engine performance? What if there are significant bodywork, suspension, interior and engine changes (going from a 3.8L to a 4.0L)? Surely that can't be just a "performance package."

And to those complaining that there are too many options that should be standard, speak for yourself. I don't want anything that increases weight to be standard. If I choose air con and radio, that's my choice. If someone wants sat nav, heated seats, premium sound, pure ostrich skin leather interior, an espresso maker and a cigar humidor, that's there choice.

I like having choices and I want Porsche to continue with this philosophy.

Oh yeah and I don't think it'll have KERS either. Which means I hope it's not a hybrid of the other kind.

Fair point.

like a few before me said, 500 bhp, 4.0 liters, weight savings by having optional CF parts as in the GT2RS... that's the bulk of it... car looking to be around 12-13% above GT3RS as initial indicative price... maybe a few tiny fins here and there for added visual differentiation...

Now two other important points for Porsche:

1) Bring it to the USA!
2) Heritage colors!

I was referring to the Cajun. Not the 911s diluting the brand.

Are you the 13 year old kid with a name change? And you're not getting the point, so give up.
