IMO I believe it will be tuff to predict. This is car is going to be different than any other P-car on the market. I would assume it wouldn't affect prices going on the assumption that it is going to be a hybrid and that this car is going to be priced way higher than a standard RS. A standard RS...lol....

the current RS is not doing well on the market. i could've picked one up much cheaper than the one i ordered. i'm sticking to it because i spec it. if this so-called LE version comes out i'm 95% won't take delivery on mine. however, i have 0 interested on the hybrid technology though.

LOL. So true. I just don't want to ruin what I have. Truthfully, I don't know much more. I was just told the numbers floating around are wrong. But a car is coming. If I was guessing, it might be a hybrid, but I bet not because it would kill their $650k 918 market. I have complained to them for years to get us something more agressive. I am expecting a RSR type variation that is just plain mean.

Porsche's mission on the 918 is clear. when i talked to the guys at Pebble viewing last month, they stated that Porsche wants to be the first automaker to have the hybrid supercar. they're gonna build it anyway regardless they can sell or not. at least that's my impression from them.
call me old school but this hybrid idea on this type of car is just plain showing off & no go. leave the hybrid to Toyota & Honda!
