I'm not sure how you guys can be underwhelmed. The car pictured is the realistic outcome. The only hype for RSR style came from within this thread. Please explain what is wrong with near 500hp out of a 4.0l with a factory warranty! Yes, this is not a cup car for the street, that would never happen, but it fits the Porsche model of late perfectly and I don't think anyone can say that this isn't going to be a great car.
I'm not doubting Porsche - whatever the company produces, definitely drives great. I've had 3 GT3s myself (and the family has gone through 7 Porsches), but for once, we want some wow factor, something a tad different for the send off of the Mezger block and the 997 swan song versus another parts bin exercise or just to milk the cows.

Aside from the performance upgrade, there has to be a visual distinction. Look at Lamborghini/Ferrari, they are much better at doing this. F430 ~ Scuderia, LP560-4 ~ Superleggera. When the MSRP is going up by 30-40k, customer have expectations.

btw, the decals is just getting out of control. i hope they return to something more simpler. oh! i want this fender below rather than the GT2RS one. part bin manager, are u listening?

told u don't hold the breath on it. the evolution vs revolution comment is gonna be the argument again, LOL! i would be more interested to see the actual price structure than the actual car. seems like it could be easily top 200k at this point. that's one expensive parts bin exercise.

More CF parts inside (ala F & L), CF parts outside, the fenders u mentioned, wider track in the back, 500 hp, close to 9,000 rpm, better sound, full Ti exhaust, proper LSD - then for 200k, I'm sold.

I don't see much of a difference besides carbon renders, canards, and some paint... If you really wanted riveted flares you could always get the RUF flares couldn't you? It looks gorgeous though, and I'm sure the sound, and performance is more important. I can't wait to see how fast this can go around the Nordschleife considering the GT3 RS can do it in 7:32.
Great finds DJ!
And like DJ said, there's absolutely no way these are photoshops. They are the real deal, and the final car will look exactly the same.

so how about some black rims on white or black on black now that you are finally convinced this is the real deal and that by doing so you would not be you are not throwing fuel on fire

Mate with all due respect the "license plate" comment has me questioning the credibility of your replies related to this car. Porsche always has studio shots w/o a plate and track/street shots with. Just look at the porsche.com site now and look at the gallery of the GTS, GT3, etc, ect.
