I don't think anyone is comparing them as competitors...However because the Carrera GT is a supercar, and up until now had the fastest 'Ring time, and now the GTR just beat that, is pretty spectacular.

No one would choose a GTR over a Carrera GT, but you gotta admit its a great car.

It's not a looker by any means, but the performance is downright shocking. I'd never buy another Nissan again, but it would be fun to get some seat time in this car.
