Advice needed: 07' GT3 might become my DD, should I sell?

Guys.... I have to give up my DD mini cooper S and the GT3 now becomes my only car. I drive about 30-45 min back and forth between hollywood and culver city and the streets are hell.

I really do not wanna give up the GT3, but there is no way I could handle driving it every day... I would end up hating the car.

Should I sell and get a turbo? I really don't wanna lose the p-car and this way the turbo might be a better DD. Not sure.

Anybody gone through this? Really blows to have to give the gt3 up

I had a fully stripped, caged, harnessed BMW M3 for over a year as a daily driver, it had no sound deadening, no aircon, no radio.

The GT3 if you love it, can be a very nice daily driver. Literally the only thing that isn't as nice as a 'normal' Porsche is the slightly harder ride and louder sound. You still have aircon, radio, seatbelts right?

Yes, but the drive between work and home is really bad. These aren't nicely paved roads... the roads are hell on the car. Trust me, I tried it for a couple of months and that was the sole reason I purchased the MiniS.

^^^ That's tough, if I were you though I would sell the GT3 and get a Turbo for sure. Stay in the P family.

Thats kinda what I was thinking. I could probably sell the GT3 with sharkwerks exhaust and p43's for about the price I could get a nice Turbo for. Financing should stay about the same.... not sure though.

sucks for sure....

Take a different route.

That, or grow a pair.

You wanna go with PDK? If you stay in the P Car family I would say Turbo - Thinking new or used? Maybe a GTR, or CLK BS.... Both are auto's

Turbo is definately a softer ride and more user friendly for commuting. That way you can stay in the family and enjoy your commute..............as best you can.

Keep the GT3 and buy a used Civic or Golf for your daily commute for like 5k.

Surfer, I would consider that , but fear I would end up going insane driving the Civic every day as well.

Feels like finding something in between would be my best bet.
