Model"S"? There;s more than one!?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I heard from Autocar that the 918 Spyder will look almost completely different than the concept car, it will only have the general shape.

Think of the price this way, would you rather have the Mona Lisa, or 1000 918 Spyders? Each cost the same, and what would be more beautiful, 10 parking lots full of 918's, or a new centerpiece?

i have no doubt they will build it from day 1. it's a such technology leap for Porsche. frankly, i don't care how green it is or how much gas it saves. i just hope that it looks better & sounds better than CGT, which is hard to top...

i'll put a question mark rather it will sell well. it's a lot easier to send back the ''yeah, i'm interested'' postage paid card than writing a $630,000.00 check.

$630k and it's slower than the 2010 911 Turbo S for 1/4 the price. Things that make you say hmmm. I expressed interest at the sub 5ook range but not a GT3RS above it. There will be a 250 Lusso in the garage before one of these.

It's a beauty as a concept car. I'll give it that. I would say you'll be close to $700k optioned but I could be wrong. I bet they sell 400 of them pretty quick. 1000 is a chunk.

Jaime does have his CGT for sale. Possibly for this car but he'll be down to the 16m after the CGT sells so who knows.

come on, are you serious?
do u really think that just because it has a 500 hp engine? what a childish way of thinking.
it will be faster than any other porsche, even the gt2 rs. Porsche won't disappoint.

You guys are lucky you pay $630k for that. A Phantom here retails for 1.1-1.2 million USD here

918

I would think if they do price this car in the 600k to 700k range it should help support CGT prices as it will look like more of a bargain.

I can't wait to see this thing. Hopefully they wont stray too far away from the original design, I really think that had a lot to do with all the interest.

I guess time will tell how fast and expensive it is. I just hope they don't get delusional when pricing this thing.
