That film is extraordinarily misleading. Zwart's time was 11:31.095 in 2wd time attack. That is indeed a new class record, though still quite shy of the 10:01.408 unlimited record generally referred to as the "Pikes Peak Record".

The qualifying time has very little to do with anything.

Impressive driving, great car, but a very misleading video.

hmm i did not know that. The clip was linked in an article that said it was the new record at Pikes peak. I thought it was a bit strange for a NA cup car to beat those purpose built turbo monsters. thanks for the info

They also don't mention that the last 2 miles are now pavement.

Besides, this is the record holder. 1000hp, 1200kgs, crazy aero. As much as I like the GT3, there's NO way in hell it can be as fast.
