Funny story; back in the '90s Mercedes Benz never believed the squealing issue we had in the States. So they flew a few guys in from Germany, and discovered that due to the low average speeds, the brakes don't really get a chance to get 'rid' of the brake dust. So it'll build up between the pads and rotors, and under pressure/heat- will glaze over the pads. It was a phenomena that wasn't much of an issue in Germany due to the Autobahn being readily available for high speed runs and hard braking.

We see this the worst with Cayennes. The tech's take the SUV on the highway; and blast the brakes from 80mph to 20mph a few times. Truck comes back with wheels covered in brake dust;but the brakes no longer squeal.

Mine has the same issues, it is due to the racing pads on the brakes, what Chris (Stoppie) mentions works for a bit then starts again.

My car's brakes squeak too on normal driving. A couple of hard braking reduces this but comes back when just used lightly. The ticking sound during cornering is the LSD working. These issues are mentioned in the GT3's manual.
