Which brakes?

I'm thinking to upgrade my 997tt about 700hp, so i think i may need some better brakes (I have standart steel brakes, and I'm tracking my car from time to time) should I get PCCB's or some brembo aftermarkets? PCCB's seem to be much more expensive (around 15k bucks) but is it worth?

And if brembos should be the way to go, which system of theirs are the best?

I love the factory installed PCCB's and would not order a Porsche without them but if I were upgrading from factory steel I would go with Brembo due to the expense. However if money is no object just order a new car with PCCB's!

A friend was telling me about sprung loads (loads that rest ON the suspension) and un-sprung loads (loads that rest OFF the suspension)… you way want to read up on that.

To my understanding reducing the un-sprung load by one pound is equivalent to a two or three pounds reduction in sprung loading. Therefore, it is not only looks and stopping power that are relevant but also weight, ride smoothness, and handling…

LuisR is an unknown quantity at this point
A nice set of Brembos will do just fine. Our Rennsport Turbo will be running Brembos with the EVOMS EVT 700 Upgrade.

ge the brembos, PCCB just offers weight reduction, no significant stopping power according to Car & Driver Test this month, just ~47lbs weight reduction.
