RUF CTR-3 "Blackbird"

You may have heard of the infamous "CTR Yellow-Bird", but have you heard of the "Blackbird"?

Member "gah993" was looking to buy a CTR-3 in Lava Grey a few months back, but it wasn't 100% his style yet. So "gah993" and I teamed up to make a very special CTR-3. He told me everything he wanted done, and I delivered. When the images were finished, he sent them off to RUF for a proposal. The car was intended to be a very light-weight version of the standard RUF CTR-3, so in turn we came up with the nickname "Blackbird". We haven't heard back from RUF in about a month, but they did express interest around February. Here are the designs we came up with.

And an Road & Track cover!

So what's added?
LEDs
New intake (front/rear
"CTR-3" text
GT1 hood scoop
Carrera GT wing
Dynamic Cornering Lights
2011 Cayman LEDs
2011 GT3 RS "distinctive" parts
and a few other things that aren't worth naming.

As soon as we hear back from RUF, I'll update with the information.

That ugly thing is not worthy of that name. I don't care how fast it is.

as a family member to "gah993," i know about this car very well.

the weight loss was going to be through,

light weight interior
light weight battery
possibly RUF magnesium wheels(If they could still make them)
window washer/headlight cleaner delete
delete the motors for lifting/ lowering the wing
ext...

BTW porschecarreragtmay6 great job!

gah993 has decided to go with something else extreme and gorgous....

RUF is the home of everything I hold sacred and consider automotive heaven - the CTR, the CTR2, the 993 RTurbo and the RT12. But I genuinely believe the CTR3 is ugly as balls, and Alois must've gotten a brain freeze when he designed it. Even scarier is the fan base around it - I mean just look at it! It is hideous!

And for the record, my 964RS was RUFed out completely. I love everything about that company apart from the CTR3.
