I found it interesting that they stated all 911's start with the same chassis/unibody assembly. There was no mention of structurally stiffening the chassis for either the GT2/3, Turbo or the Vert' Does that mean a base model (non-GT2/3) is structurally just as stiff/strong as the souped up models?

If I'm informed right there are no structural differences.
But that all 911s start with the same chassis is not right. You have to differentiate between the standard and the wide body.
Also the GT models have some small differences. For weight saving they leave out the assembly part for the roof transport system and the stiffeners for the rear seat belts.
