Thanks for the inquiry. The majority of times the driver can open the door, normally they use a cloth towel to put along the edge of the door to open and protect the door. If a vehicle is too wide to open up the door they the normally slip out the drivers side window. An SUV or Van they would climb out the back hatch. We do not have any problems with drivers getting in and or out of vehicles we transport.
