The best five lug aftermarket wheels are somewhat lighter than most centerlocks.
For example, our Tech1-210 weighs 7.3 kg in a 19x8.5. The centerlock version of the same wheel weighs 7.6 kg.
We found the same to be true with the OE wheels. You'll get better performance with the 5-lug and save yourself some dough.
But those centerlocks sure look cool. Only you can put a value on that.

HRE P40 or P43? Or, Champion RS98 or RS171?

HRE will finish them in red, but Champion wheels are a little lighter I think.

I'm open to other suggestions. Info, insight, or photoshop would be awesome. Thanks.

.
I vote p40 man... I think it'd be killer in red like that!

HRE is making some P40's powdercoated in red! 19x9 and 19x12. Extended 2010 RS stripes are ordered too.

Why HRE? Great looking. They warranty the finish. Strong company that will be around to replace or do custom 10.5" front wheels if I install 2010 GT3 cup front end.

Why monoblock? Looks great, no alignment issues, and no leaks.

Who did I order from? Alex at Sharkwerks of course!

Great wheel, looks like a competition series.
Now the only thing which just may not square is the polished lip.
IMHO do not think it works with the scheme of the RS.
Even so if I had one of these beauty I'd powdercoat black the wing uprights.
