Love the scheme

 

It is Karim Al Azhari's car, he used to race it in local series, but it has the interior back in it. The foil is recent.

I saw a short documentary about him on Motorvision. He was or is the Porsche Club President of Dubai.

Wouldn't mind getting the same wrap

 

he is still the president of the club. 15 years and counting. We have a track night at Yas this Friday come down...

 

The logistics are tough I'm in Dubai mid-December though

 

 

Went for a fun drive early Sunday morning with a buddy and his 2012 911TT/PDK. We did some canyon carving way outside of town and really pushed the limits. Halfway thru I asked if he wanted to try the GT2 and he did. After 20 minutes we pulled over and he got out laughing in excitement and said "my TT is jsut a GT this is a freakin race car". He couldn't stop smiling.

I was impressed on how his TT handled and it did not feel as heavy in the front as I expected. What was bad, was the front tire not communicating grip levels through the steering wheel, thus I had to slow down more in the corners for lack of confidence. Whereas in my car I know exactly how much grip I have left and can push it harder and faster. It confirmed that a TT would be a great DD but would also become boring. My car is never near being boring but can be tiresome if you are feeling tired and lazy.
