Hi Harvey, they are actually every different. It's amazing how much difference the little details make.
The shifter on the 2 feels more like a Carrera and on the 3 it is meatier. It's quite difficult to describe.
The steering wheel on the 3 is also thicker, so that makes the whole turning experience different too.
Although both have single mass flywheels, the 2 is quite a bit quieter. The 3 on idle sounds like a tractor
Powerwise the 2 is obviously the king, but the 3 is extremely impressive for a NA engine. It has a lot of torque. I don't know if it's geared differently from the normal GT3, but they feel a lot shorter too.
Sound wise, the 3 is my favorite. It's intoxicating in higher RPM, especially when the valve opens. It is quite bass-y too
