Did a test there today, as we're racing there next weekend.

Spent most the morning running in the gearbox and engine, now that is fecking dull !!!

Although a pretty dull, it's a pretty technical track, especially when trying to find time.

The high speed bank gives you a butt clenching moment every lap, there were 2 large shunts there at Carerra Cup weekend last year.
For me, it's only flat on brand new rubber, and even then mainly during qually, other than that, a minimul lift during the race. You really need to feel the car is underneath you to do it.

Only had used rubber from the Thruxton weekend on today, currently no new tyres in the UK, as Michelin are getting in yet another compound tyre for next weekend, there's big shit going on at the moment, as the tyres just didn't last at Thruxton, as the surface just mullered them, and they were no good after just a 30 minute race.
But the good part is, they are giving everyone a new set of rears FOC as recompence, so not bad imo.

Short vid here, nothing exciting though, just warming the tyres up from the pits, and a couple
half decent laps, as i forgot to charge the battery up :duh:
