I'm guessing the dealer may not take it back in trade or sale as a race car is the reason the customer is putting back to stock form. Looks like all the OEM bits were kept in good shape at least. Good work guys!

Why would he do all that work to a road car??

That guy should have just bought a GT3 Cup.

Currently the parts(such as bumpers and ect) getting re-painted in our paint booth.

I will take some more picture once the car is near finish.

I still can't wrap my head around the concept here -- I'm just going to have to read this thread backwards from now on. The ratio of fully race-prepped RS's to stock versions has to be just miniscule, making the this reverse-conversion a puzzling endeavor.

It would seem that a track-ready RS, built up the way it was, would easily command far more from a private racer or collector than the owner will get in exchange at the dealership when he turns in a stock RS. But, to each their own.
