Clutch effort in GT3RS.2?
#5
actually the GT3 has a dual mass flywheel and the clutch - by comparison is much heavier the the GT3RS - the RS has a single mass light weight flywheel and clutch assembly - for comparison its about 18 pounds lighter in the RS - the RS spools up much much faster and feels much lighter. that has been my experience - I miss my lightweight RS clutch but I cant bring myself to change anything on the 2010 GT3 - the car is so well sorted from the factory its amazing

i have the regular gt3.2 and after driving it around for 5-6k km the clutch stiffness never comes to mind.i use mine as dd and apart from fear of door dents from assholes and 2 more seats the car is very usable and comfy.
btw this is coming from the guy whos previous manual car was over 9years ago.at first you might need to learn the clutch a bit for eg i used to have the clutch depressed in bumper to bumper traffic and that was obviously very tiering.now i either let the clutch out and with no accelerator input the car coasts to about 8-9km/h.or just leave the clutch and when the car ahead moves, get some distance then move lol i know im lazy.
More importantly you should be thinking about the low ride height plus getting in and out is not that easy and the noise inside the cabin in the rs.
clutch is not an issue, havent heard of any owner complain about the stiff clutch.bcuz they all got used to it and its just second nature now.
