Rest in peace. Broadsiding a tree has to be the worst impact. Much better to head on into any object. There were nothing to slow down the car either.

Roads such as this needs some serious protection. Having gravel that will sink the speed would have been good. Most public roads are not designed well for excess speed. Just because some roads have high speed limit, doesnt mean they are safe.

911 will take a head on into a tree at 75-80mph with only mild concussion. I am the living proof of that.

Wow, that's so sad, you can barley tell it's a GT3 RS (besides the green color and the graphics) from the rear. I can't say I've ever seen a worse accident in a 911 GT3. I also offer my condolences for them and their families. R.I.P

Ouch. High speeed impact

 

The tree is pretty darn close to the road. Wouldn't necessarily have to be doing silly speeds for it to happen.
