Congrats on the mileage; the CGT is def. a keeper in my books, and i still think it has one of the BEST sounding factory exhausts i've ever heard!

I love to see a hypercar being used and I'm amazed at how many CGT owners are on this forum, it's an all-around great site (pun intended)

The great Carrara GT, they have over 20k miles, or less than 5k haha. I love hearing about the high mileage cars. Seems to be many examples

Nice to see you are putting more miles on this than the SL I purchased from you a few years back. Enjoy a fabulous car.

It would have done, it measured up at 28.9mm (replace at 28.00mm)

However, based on the previous clutch wear figures that we've taken over the years, the clutch may not have lasted until the next engine out service in another four years time, meaning if it needed doing in the interim, there'd be another engine out/transmission split cost to replace the clutch.

Coupled with the fact as the engine was out already for this service, and the dealer replaced the clutch at a discounted parts price with no labour cost, it made sense to do it now.
