CGT Mileage Milestone
#35
Another mileage milestone today.
After 6 1/2 years owning the CGT, it ticked over 30,000 miles today.
It's almost 6 months since the car has turned a wheel, it had it's second 4 year engine out service (as the car was 8 years old) and a clutch at the end of October 2012.
The long winter in the UK meant the roads have only really become salt free in the last week or so, and I've driven a couple of hundred miles in the last couple of days over my local roads.
Still can't believe what an amazing machine the Carrera GT is, this year mines 9 years old!!
In between the 20,000 mile mark and now, I've enjoyed many track days, a trip to Italy and a track day driving the Imola Circuit in the car were the highlight of 2011. Unfortunately last year I only did around 900 miles due to work/family commitments, fully intend to do more this year:

After 3 1/2 years in my custody the CGT clicked 20000 miles today. I know this mileage is nothing in today's era of reliability, but it's more than most CGT's have accumulated.
Every mile has been both a pleasure and a privilege, and my passion for the car remains undiluted.
It's just been serviced, had mesh fitted to the front bumper and a new set of PCCB's so ready for action this year on road and track:
