As the current owner of an 05 C-GT all I can say is WOW!!! I knew they were developing a replacement but I didn't expect to see the prototype this year. It was amazing that Porsche kept the last generation C-GT a secret up until they rolled it out at the Paris Auto Show and now they are doing it again with this absolutely stunning concept.

Dont confuse with size.

Boxster
Wheelbase 1997–2002: 95.2 in (2418 mm)
2003–04: 95.1 in (2416 mm)
Length 1997–2002: 171.0 in (4343 mm)
2003–04: 170.1 in (4321 mm)
Width 70.1 in (1781 mm)
Height 50.8 in (1290 mm)

LP640
Wheelbase 104.9 in (2,664.5 mm)
Length 2002-06: 180.3 in (4,579.6 mm)
2007-Present: 181.5 in (4,610.1 mm)
Width 2002-06: 80.5 in (2,044.7 mm)
2007-Present: 81.0 in (2,057.4 mm)
Height 44.7 in (1,135.4 mm)
2007-Present Roadster: 44.6 in (1,132.8 mm)
Curb weight 1,650 kg (3,638 lb)

F430
Wheelbase 102.4 in (2601 mm)
Length 177.6 in (4511 mm)
Width 75.7 in (1923 mm)
Height Coupe: 47.8 in (1214 mm)
Spider: 48.6 in (1234 mm)
Curb weight 1,450 kg (3,197 lb)

Carrera GT
Wheelbase 107.5
Length 4,623 mm (182.0 in)[1]
Width 1,930 mm (76 in)[1]
Height 1,168 mm (46.0 in)[1]
Curb weight 1,380 kg (3,000 lb)[1]

918 Spyder
Wheelbase 104.3
Length 177
Width 76
Hight 43
Curbweight 1490

I would say, F430 with novitec kit with 700hp will come close to performance.
Or, with my expirence with LP640, 100 more hp and 160kg less weight will make the car extremely fast. 0-300 in LP 31.5 sec. I would dare to say 0-300 in Spyder will be less than 30 sec, more likely 26sec.

CGT did 0-300 in 34. Enzo with 650 HP and 1365kg did in 26 sec. So with improved areo, 50 more HP and 125 kg disadantage, 918 can hit 300 just like or better what Enzo did.

Ring time
8. Maserati MC12 7:24.29 (IT) 167 ´04 632 / 1335 Marc Basseng
9. Pagani Zonda F Clubsport 7:24.65 (IT) 167 ´05 650 / 1230 Marc Basseng
10. Ferrari Enzo 7:25.21 (IT) 167 ´02 660 / 1365 Marc Basseng
11. Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 7:26.4 (FC) 166 ´08 647 / 1530 Jim Mero
12. Nissan GT-R 7:26.70 (FC) 166 ´08 479 / 1740 Toshio Suzuki
13. Porsche Carrera GT 7:28.71 (IT) 165 ´03 612 / 1380 Walther Röhrl

Wonder what they are after for Ring lap time.

I'm impressed from an engineering prototype/new model/possible production perspective, but not as a replacement to the CGT.

Love the overall design & interior sans rims. But any CGT replacement in comparison needs to make the new LP-570 SL & 458 Italia look like a 1977 Mustang II 4-cylinder automatic in both looks & performance.
