The recorded time was done by the head engineer (not team driver), on crap tires. The final tires, designed and made specifically for this car, are in full production. If you watch the video, I noticed 3 corners (I'm just a novice here, I'm sure a real driver would know more) where he came into the corners wrong and on one he came full off the gas mid corner. I would expect, with a pro and the right tires, they clock it at 6min 50 sec.

Hands down one of the best interiors I've seen in a while, it's right up there with the CGT.
