^ agreed, great post. Seeing all of the engineering and design that went into the car is pretty interesting.

like the new bucket seats! expect this new model in future models -- the current/outgoing bucket seat was introduced with the CGT and then shared with 911s

McLaren have denied it and said that it will merely go under 7:00, but I believe that it was done in the simulator and this time is their target lap time. If it's really 6s faster than the 12C GT3 around Catalunya (which might turn out to be true), then a time under 6:40 isn't impossible. We should know very soon, hopefully they will give it a go in the following few months.

Luckily it happened now so they can sort it out instead of having Ferrari fever later down in the production line.
