As a figure of engineering and design this is absolutely spectacular
As a successor to the carrera gt obviously this is a little disappointing
In my honest opinion i can't see porsche bringing a car like this into production, as this car will be 300k+ and anyone with that kinda money will not be concerned with the mpg figure, they will be more concerned with the performance and drive of the car and in that regard i can see how some of you are disappointed with it

Really amazing design. A the same time, I am very curious of that clear coating on the wheel.
Does anyone have a more detailed pic of the wheel?
It seems as though it is some sort of clear plastic that is on top of the wheel surfice. Guessing that it is there as a function of sucking air into the wheel to cool off the brakes. Just a wild guess though.

seriously, wtf is going on with the wheels? cant even tell what they are designed like... is that clear with colored spokes or what?
wonder if it will have a roof like the CGT.
Also, why cant the side pipes make it to production? SLR, i thinks some Mustangs, etc have it...
