Sources with knowledge of the incident say police are investigating the possibility that a fugitive businessman from the Czech Republic, who is believed to be in South Africa, might be linked to his disappearance.
Radio Prague reported i n 2005 that the High Court in Johannesburg had turned down an application for the man's extradition . The billionaire businessman has already been sentenced in absentia in the Czech Republic to six-and-a-half years' jail for tax fraud.

Made a phone call to his wife saying he had an accident.
Investigation as a missing person: crime, kidnapping, accident are not excluded.
Actually nothing new. Just confirmations.

I read two more articles in our local press quoting employees who say that Gemballa would have never left his company in case of financial problems. Another former employee claimed that Gemballa was the best boss he ever had and a genius when it comes to tuning.
Sadly, there were no news about the actual situation. Seems like we can just wait and hope for his best.
