Do I need to refill the oil? see pic. Plz Help

Hi all,

Tomorrow is my second track day and I just check the oil level today and as you can see the level in the pic. Do I need to refill now? This is my first time to refill and it is so far 3500 km. No refill warning so far...

Talking

I would check the actual dipstick first and if it looks a bit low, add a quart and see where it ends up.

At that level only add 1/3 quart then recheck.

Wouldn't that be kinda hard?! I'm pretty sure he doesn't have one.

I guess I haven't spent much time around the newer GT3s but I find it hard to believe that there isn't a physical dipstick anywhere on the engine block/crankcase.

No dip sticks on P-cars. The level between the two arrows is pretty much one quart. So you are missing about 1/2 quart. I agree I would add about 1/3. If you reach the bottom arrow it does not mean you have no oil it means you are the bottom of the acceptable oil level. You can still drive home or get some oil, I just would not go tracking at that level.

I usually put a 1/3 quart in after any track day, but I don't have a GT3

Yes, add 1/2 qt and then recheck.

The DFI engines are big whacky, the techs add oil while the engine is running. (not the GT3 mind you!)
