Wheel/tire insurance

Dealer offering a 3 yr/45 k miles policy for $989
Should I get it?

YES YES YES My wife hit a pothole in her SL63 and three Asanti plus tires had to be replace. The Wheel/tire insurance paid it all.

If you are going to drive it a good bit, and if the roads down there are anything like they are in the Northeast - definitely. Even if not, for under $1000 to be covered for bubbles, blow-outs and f'ed up rims, it seems like worthy insurance on a car like the 3, where just a couple of rear tires will get you close to your quoted number.
