Thanks for posting... the pics are great.

Just a general question or two. How are the teams funded and what sort of budget would they require? Do Porsche fund these teams or have any financial or other association with them?

I'm pretty sure Porsche does not fund the teams I believe the price of the car includes some sort of mechanical support.

FYI these are the first delivery of the 2010 GT3 cup anywhere in the world

Almost every 997 GT3 RSR/GT3 Cup Car you see is privately funded. Some championship level teams might have a little Porsche backing for parts etc.

BTW - CC re-scheduled for 2nd of Jan.

This is how it works…
You buy the car from the promoter for USD265k
Pay a turn key entrance fee of USD133
Now all you need to do is show up at the track and drive
Three tracks at three countries, 6 weekends, 12 races
The car is now yours to keep… if you don’t want it you can sell it at a 15 to 25 percent premium plus with the right sponsors you can do this for free
