Yes is the same design, but with Center Lock hub for GT3 and Carrera GT.

We are working on a wheel very similar to that one with a step lip...do you guys think that bringing the step lip back will be something interesting to do?

Just an observation about step lip... seems many are gravitating towards larger diameter spokes and some are forgoing the lips altogether for the concave look. Does it make sense to spend money engineering it?

The technology is already there. It's just a matter of picking one of our styles & basically cutting the center 1" smaller than the desired size of the wheel (ie..for a 20" wheel we would cut a 19" center & so forth).
The "step aspect" of the wheel makes this possible, thus reducing the overall weight of the wheel / reduced unsprung weight.
That last bit is for the track guys/racers
