Yeah! I had the same problem with my Ford Ranger! I popped the hood this morning when I saw this thread and my 5.7L V10 was missing!

I just tugged on those rings and the whole engine fell out from underneath the car. They must of missed a few bolts when they put the car back together!

Put the baby away about a month ago, but had a rare 19 degree day today (which may be a record for early November!)

Used the opportunity to burn up a quarter tank of gas and a few mm's of rubber off the tires. Silver thingies are solid as can be. Mine must be a Wednesday build!
