Great post. A very respectable terminal speed. Now that you have had some time on learning to launch your car. I think you will get close to the 195mph terminal speed on your next try. Congrat's . P.S. Those Dymags look great on the car.

The start doesn't really have any effect on the terminal speed at the mile, if I did a 0-100kph in say 3.6s it would probably give another 0.5mph or less at the mile....
To go faster needs more power or lower drag. The GT2 has over 100kg of downforce at 300kph (which means a lot of drag) so the acceleration over 250kph is severely affected - the payoff is the rock steady stability - seriously, it doesn't take any balls to do this in THIS car, it feels so stable.....Try doing this in an older pre 996 model and it becomes "interesting" !
