2010 Porsche 997 GT3 RS: Decals and Paint Options...
#24
I love the 2010 GT3RS in all its ways. For me I'd love a white one with red graphics.
Now what are you guys hearing from your local dealers about the 997.2 RS?
Specifically regarding how many units will be built and available for the US?
Cheers

Careful guys - there's a suspicion in Europe that some guys within Porsche have been logging on to various forums and saying how "great the car looks in the flesh" - in an attempt to counteract the significant backlash there has been in Europe to the specification (missing the hopes and expectations of the enthusiasts) - plus the somewhat strange colorway choices!

That would be me!
I got lucky and was able to see the new RS in Weissach already last week. Incredible experience! It was mentioned above that I saw a blue/ white gold car without stickers. That is correct, but the stickers were probably not on the car just because it was a test car. It will take a while for anybody to see a complete blue/ white gold car since the car at the IAA in Frankfurt will be grey/ red. A metallic blue RS is not for me, but I certainly find that the brass like white gold worked nicely with the deep blue metallic on the car I saw.
I actually asked the team in Weissach if they were following the main forums (teamspeed, rennlist, pistonheads etc.). They are, but never post.
