I made the first video of my car and new Akrapovic Evolution Race exhaust. I will write a review with photos very soon, time permitting!

That sounds awesome! If i had a GT3, this would be the exhaust I would get for sure. Can't wait to see your video skipper.

I meant the first of the two videos up on top of this thread is mine with my car in it - I made it. Soon I will write the accompanying write up - report of installation and driving impression.

Okay sounds good.
Now a few questions.
1. Cost of the exhaust system
2. The dyno graph is confusing. What was the stock rwhp of the 997 GT3?
3. What were the peak and midrange rwhp gains?
4. Did this include software tuning?

Reason why I ask is because there are other exhaust systems similar in physical design.

Thanks

Ranger

Can you document and confirm the total weight of 31 lbs for the entire system.
Obviously it is side muffler delete but what do the headers weigh, cats and center rear muffler or resonator weigh?

Again what is the cost?
What is the peak rwhp?

Cheers

The rear center section is usually approx. 20 lbs.
So the headers must weigh 5.5 lbs per bank and never mind the cats (?).
Sorry but I doubt it.

I want proof of these weight savings. Itemize each component weight.

The only reason I am pursuing this is because I have an exhaust system that will better this.

Ranger - I don't have first hand experience with this system. However I read the info on Akra's web site which states 29kg (@63lbs) reduction. Wouldn't that weight be pretty accurate since all the components (rear section, connecting pipes, headers, and tips) are all made of Titanium?
