Thanks for sharing its a wonderful car, but I wouldnt pay MSRP for it as it depreciates quite well in 2-3 years in our market.

I dont know about that. I honestly dont think the 997 GT cars will follow the same pattern as the 996 GT series cars did. Only time will tell though.

I feel its too tame, not raw when looking at 996 GT3's as example they dont sport traction control whilst the 997 does. There making the cars more loose with more creature comforts and looking at their main sphere which is performance and feel just look at the 993 it might be the last "REAL" porsche.

Why should I want navigation in a GT3 and a sunroof, if I have a 997 GT3 the only thing I would want is carbon fiber, clubsport, sunroof delete, no optional audio package and no cd changer.

Ya but i'd say you're probably in the minority. Although most enthusiasts, myself included, would agree, we no longer comprise Porsche's majority buyers. Porsche has manufactured a car that not only looks better than, but also out performs its "raw" predecessor, all the while, having all those creature comforts, effectively allowing them to target a somewhat new crowd.

Also Porsche seems to have learned that their most "valuable" owners (those that can afford GT series cars) didnt appreciate the huge hit they had to take with the 996 GT series cars, thus the low supply and extremely high demand. With the aforementioned things, i think the 997 GT series cars will hold much stronger for much longer than their predecessors did. Just my $.02

I agree a prime example is the 996 GT2, its prices are still strong and holding well even with the introduction of the 997 GT2.
