It's like a turbo. Except you have a compressed man on the compressor side.

9ff made a twin turbo CGT that put out ~860 bhp, iirc. I'm not sure if anyone ever bought it though. It was red.

Did you try feeding it chili and have him blowing into the engine through his other end? Drastically improved efficiency.
You could also pour NOS in the gas tank.
