Why was the carrera gt never turbocharged?
Why was the carrera gt never turbocharged? Of all todays supercars the carrera and enzo have yet to recieve turbo upgrades. What is the reasoning exspecially for the gt that this was never attempted?? Seems odd that I cant find one article on this in a google search.

The Carrera GT was originally conceived from the leftovers of an aborted project to assault prototype sports car racing in the US and Europe. So the engine (and most of the rest of the car) was designed and built for exactly that purpose.

I always though the CGT was TT, until someone told me otherwise at one of our track events... I also always wondered why they didn't make one with a TT setup.

When I really feel like going fast, I hire a midget to strap himself to the engine bay while I am driving and blow as hard as he can into the intake. That is usually good for 200-300 extra hp.
