well, the reason i was able to get bumped up on the list is one person ahead of me wanted to wait for a later build also, to get the dynamic engine mounts.
i dunno if this will happen, but i am afraid if i wait for a later build i might lose my slot altogether especially with the bad economy and if porsche just decides to not ship as many as planned to us.
i will double check when i go in on monday. i would much rather wait for the special color if i were guaranteed to get the car

 

Must have option with the blue hues are PCCB's imho. Such a great combination with yellow and blue Maybe because I'm Swedish but I still love it.

thanks guys, yeah i think white is my best option, hopefully there will be a bunch of red ones this time around so white wont be as common. i will probably end up wrapping it some other color though if i dont do a clear bra.

 

I don't know if xenons are still an option, but they are must-have.

I would also STRONGLY consider PCCB. It's pricey, but definitely worth it on this caliber of car, especially if you're using it mainly on the street.

 

Definitely considering deviating stitching. With black leather/alcantara, it'll really make the interior pop.

 

so far i am thinking white ext, deviating stitch, all the silver pieces inside painted white, xenon, navi, sound, bluetooth.
the brakes on my 997S have been just fine for me, my brother upgraded his 997 to mk1 gt3 brakes and i thought they were amazing, now the standard gt3 breaks are even better so i cant imagine i would need the ceramics.
i dunno about the seats yet.
anything else that anyone could think of would be greatly appreciated so i wont be overwhelmed on monday. my salesman is trying to convince me to get a low option car, so i dont want to miss anything which i will regret later that will be hard to retrofit.
