I refer to the inner most pop-out duct piece as lipstick. Started with the White/Red RS combo and that part in the front is painted red like lipstick. Sure doesn't make sense when it's any other color but not sure how else to describe that piece. It's usually plain black on non-RS. He painted it white and I think it looks too busy now.
