Looks like a blast, and great sound too! Always curious, what kind of speeds are you hitting on the long straights?

Jim,

I didn't know you were sporting a camera! You and I could have done a lead-follow with the Scuderia. Great weekend. Thanks for sharing the videos. I noticed you tracked the cabriolet. Did you shoot any open air video?

Observation: There are many lines through the carousel; next time, try straddling the pavement line -- about 1 1/2 car widths left of where you're taking it now. With the larger radius, you can carry a little more speed. Then turn in just as you can see the rumple strip on the apex. Just a thought, as it works better for me.

Great meeting you guys.

155 - 165 in the CGT and Scuderia. 150 - 155 in the GT3 RS. Mostly, I don't look at the speedo.

Thanks, it was shot in HD. It was shot on a Sony HDR-CX12 with a 0.7 wide angle lens mounted on an I/Oport racing camera mount. This camera records to memory sticks, no tape or hard drive was used.

If you watch the video on the Vimeo web site you will see it in HD, I don't think the viewer that is embedded in the forums shows HD. (Just click on the Vimeo logo in the lower right corner of the viewer window to take you there)
