has anyone of you noticed that purplish kinda shade on some windshields in higher class of cars,both on older and recent ones, not all models have it and its not soley amg thing better equipped cdi also have it and also some bmws, do you know which option is that or purpose of it, thanks for info, some pics from web in RL is more noticeable

Probably either some sort of tint or a thermol glass protection to keep the inside of the car cool.
