G500 ownership experience?

Been looking at used G500's and you can get one for around 30k from 2002-2003 in the US. Are they expensive to maintain? How reliable are they? What to look for in a used car that has passed the 50k mileage barrier?

Cheers TS

Remember when Mbolo looked at that few years old G400 CDI with like, zero miles on it? Rust had eaten through everything, even the door hinges!!! I'd stay faaaaaaar away.

I don't think a California car would have rust and it would sleep in the garage most of the time
