Spied: 2012 Mercedes-Benz GLK Facelift

With both the ML and the GL coming up in new versions, the smallest, so far at least, Mercedes SUV GLK starts to look outdated. And to keep up in the sales against the BMW X3 and Audi Q5, its time for a refresh of the GLK and we can show you the very first photos of that refresh.

As usual when Mercedes makes a face lift the new version gets new bumpers front and back as well as refreshed and slightly restyled headlights. We also expect some changes to the rear lights, even if this prototype does not show that yet.

]Expect some smaller changes at the interior just like the C-Class got lately with higher class on the materials and smaller changes to satnav/infotainment and dash. A new steering wheel is rounding the interior up. We also expect some updates on both engines and gearboxes when it’s time to unveil the modified GLK in late 2012.
