Supposedly the source of information is that he tweeted this picture (Birdman's Maybach Exelero For $8 Million | Celebrity Cars Blog).
I honestly doubt these guys own half the cars that they claim to ... but his twitter account was the source of the rumour, think of it what you will.

I have to give the Birdman credit, at least he's buying pretty exclusive cars and staying out of trouble with all that money he's making...
The Exelero is a very unique car, he has to feel like a million (or 8) bucks when driving that around if he does in fact own it.
