'04 e320 issues?

'04 e320 issues?
A friend is looking at an E320 that's out of state, an 04 with 20k on it. Owned by an 81 year old gramma. All service records. Silly cheap.
What's the deal with these? Do these suffer from the infamous quality issues of earlier MBs? What are the typical problem areas?

The only thing I've heard of is the potential failure of the pump (or something similar) for the brake-by-wire system. I believe this is a part that's located near the passenger side footwell, and you can also hear it upon shutting the car off.

The issues I had were with the front air shocks going out (these are pretty expensive), and someone already mentioned the brake (SBC) system. That SBC computer alone (part only) is 4K at the dealership. When STOPPIE gets un-banned he can comment more on other issues.
