spare time toys is an unknown quantity at this point

What do you hate about your MB

That frikn key....... $250 for a replacement..... cant buy one anyplace other than the dealer.....

That sounds cheap actually. I would have guessed 800+.

Mini George has a reputation beyond repute

My dad got rid of his 2000 E320 because it was a lemon. The "crank-shaft sensor" was not working properly and every time it went out, the car would turn off.

Yeah, $250 isn't that bad.

The only thing I hate about my MB (which it is, technically

) is thatI can't get the supercharged 3.2L with a 6 spd manual.

That's a common problem with that engine but it's a cheap and easy fix.

Up until about a year ago, one could be bought online, provided you had proper docs, for about $125. And a few years before, when the Chrome ones were just coming out, for 80 bucks or so.

The horrible local dealership.

We've had quite a few different Benz's and absolutely loved the cars; they're the only reason worth putting up with the incredibly difficult service department.
