I'm new to the forum and just thought I'd post up a couple of photos of my 1987 560SL. No real mods other than the Mille Miglia Bello wheels, because there just are not any performance mods available for these old dogs.

Welcome to the forum, very nice R107 you've got. We used to have a 450 SLC back in the days.

 

I love the 560s! Both the SLs and the SEC/SEL models . . . and I believe there are at least intake/exhausts available for those cars, not to mention wood trim kits, Euro lighting and the like from Performance Products.

 

Those must get a lot more attention than the new ones.

Love that car so much... Would honestly love to grab one still.

My father has been on the lookout for a nice one for quite some time now.

 

There always seems to be 107's for sale. During the whole series from 73-89, they made over 290,000 of that body style.

I found mine through Cars.com, but the Star magazine that's put out by the Mercedes Benz Club of America has a classified section that always has lots of the 107's for sale all over the country. Mercedes-Benz Club of America Current Trading Post Classified Ads

The web site does not have the photos of the cars that the magazine does, however. I'm sure most of the sellers would gladly email photos of any car you might be interested in.

I love my 560; it never fails to draw attention wherever we go.
