Yup, the Jag is fast. But two completely different cars, imo. I would've liked to see the XFR race the E55 as that would've been a more fair comparison.

 

Building slow cars was never Jaguar's problem ... building cars (fast or otherwise) that would stay together was, and this video does nothing to make me believe this Jag will look better than that Benz after 100,000 miles.

Not really a fair comparison as the Jag is supercharged and the Benz is NA. The S65 might be more suited as it's turboed, but on the other hand it has a 100 horsies more than the jag.

 

S63 takes a giant shit on that jaguar.. please go back to whatever hole you came from

 

I've owned a 99 XJR and it was the fastest stock 4 seater you could buy at the time hell it was faster than a C4S in a stoplight door to door sprint at the time....
I have a stock CLS55 and it will pull most stock Porsche, it pulled the same lap times as a GT3 on a Top Gear show a while back.....
Porsche are nice cars I've owned a few but they look slow when a four door blows by..

 

CLS faster than a stock Porsche? off the line initially *maybe* if the Porsche is in the hands of someone who doesn't know how to launch a car and same lap time as a GT3??!!
