I have owned both an SLK350 and an SLK55AMG.
Both were great cars.
If you can put together the extra $20K or so to get the AMG version, it is worth every damn penny.
Niether car gave me a minute's trouble.
I owned the 55 for 3 years and had a full Brabus B55 engine upgrade kit on it. Still flawless.
